Overview: Large UK Bank is adding a deposits / liabilities sales person to its Treasury Sales team in the North. This is a new role and will require you to build your business, utilising the Banks extensive Commercial and Corporate Client base. You will need to have the drive and vision to create both structured and vanilla deposits from scratch, networking internally to gain referrals and by contacting existing banking clients. You will need to have current money markets / deposits sales experience to be considered for this role. If you can show the drive needed to succeed in this role there will be a medium term opportunity to move into the multi product risk solutions sales team providing FX and Rates hedging solutions. We are looking for an individual to cover The North ( Manchester, Leeds etc). The role will be field based with your office based in Birmingham.

Role: • Deposits raising from the Banks existing Commercial client base up to 25 million turnover • Building a business from scratch • Working with Relationship Managers from commercial Banking and your colleagues in treasury sales • Putting into place networking events, road shows and events to promote the business • Developing a business model and strategy that could be adopted nationally • Looking at structured and vanilla deposits solutions • Analysing Corporate Clients Balance Sheets and their liabilities • Identifying opportunities to help your clients improve their liabilities through suitable structured deposits strategies • Working with clients to deliver strong long term solutions
Skills required: • Current Corporate or Commercial Deposits Sales experience • Well educated • Driven to succeed and able to demonstrate clear results in your current role • Knowledge and ability to develop a business from scratch • Innovator • Full driving licence • Ideally understand a balance sheet and be able to discuss liabilities • Motivated by success and recognition
